American citizens do NOT need a visa for stays under 90 days. You arrive, present your passport (which must be valid for 6+ months), get a tourist stamp, and you are in. Practical tips Americans miss
Tipping: 10-15% in restaurants, 5-10 dirhams for valet/porter. ATMs are everywhere, take out 1,500 dirhams at a time (about $150). The dirham is non-convertible — exchange leftovers at the airport before leaving. Most riads accept Visa/Mastercard. WiFi is solid.
